Aged Care Find welcomes Overbeek Lodge in Kilsyth, VIC 3137 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

Our Homes provide both low and high care accommodation and ‘ageing in place' has been established, as well as respite, dementia and palliative care. Should your care needs change; you will be able to stay in the area that has grown familiar to you whilst we adjust the level of care according to your needs.

Margriet Manor and Overbeek Lodge are situated next to each other in the green surroundings of the Dandenong Ranges. Sunny courtyards create a peaceful environment for Elders to take a stroll or just enjoy the weather. Avondrust Lodge is located in Carrum Downs, at only a short drive from the beach and the shops.

Each Home is divided into smaller households of around 15 Elders. Each share a spacious living area with comfortable chairs and a big table for Elders to enjoy their meal together.

The home-style, typically Dutch meals follow the dietary guidelines as set by the Commonwealth Government and are regularly reviewed by a dietitian, the Unit Manager and the Manager Food Services. The four-week rotating menus are seasonally adjusted. We actively involve Elders in menu planning, taking into consideration their likes, dislikes and preferences. We can accommodate any special dietary needs.

To keep you involved the Lifestyle Team organises group activities with a Dutch flavour; Rummikub, klaverjassen and music. The national holidays such as Sinterklaas are celebrated in the traditional way. There is a weekly Happy Hour, where the real treat is an ‘advocaatje met slagroom'. You may even join the ‘Men's Workshop' or ‘Ladies' Craft Club'! To enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Dandenong Ranges, we organise scenic drives and other excursions in the DutchCare bus.
