Lower Burdekin Home for the Aged Home Hill: A need was identified for a similiar facility in Home Hill. With the Ayr facility well established the Society commenced the planning proceses for a new Hostel in Home Hill.Home Hill Hostel originally opened in 1994 with forty residents however the demand grew for more resident places and in 2003 five extra beds were added. In 2007 twenty eight extra places were added which consisted of two new Villas and a twelve bed Secure Special Needs Unit. Today in a park like setting Seventy two resident places are accomodated in the Home Hill Community which includes one respite bed. As an Ageing in Place facility residents and their family can be assured that the care needs can be accomodated for as the Resident's care needs increase.Welcome to Home Hill Hostel, Home Hill QLD
