Residential Aged Care is provided on a permanent and respite basis at Creswick Daylesford and Trentham aged care facilities. All campuses have high-level nursing home care and low-level hostel care is available at Daylesford and Trentham.Our philosophy is to provide a secure and comfortable environment that promotes the highest physical and mental function to optimise quality of life.All bedrooms are of sufficient size to enable private personal visits by family and friends and provision for personal touches from home. The Lifestyle Program for the residents includes crafts gardening music outings games current affairs aromatherapy massage and special event days. Community groups regularly visit. Religious needs are also accommodated.Personal services provided include a laundry service (included in the fee) a daily newspaper delivery podiatry prescription filling service and hairdressing.Relatives and friends are encouraged to visit at any time. Tea and coffee facilities are available. When arranging medical care clients and/or their relatives are able to select the medical practitioner of their choice. Medical practitioners visit on a regular basis and in cases of acute need the medical practitioner or their designated stand-in will be contacted for consultation.Access to specialist services such as physiotherapists dietitian dentist optometrist and audiologist can be arranged through consultation with nursing staff and medical practitioners as required.
