St Catherine's Aged Care at Bathurst is a 69 bed residential aged care community that supports 'ageing in place'. Our staff provide professional care for our residents. With 31 high care and 38 low care beds we also offer respite and a 15 bed Dementia secure area.

Situated at the foot of Mount Panorama, Bathurst, St Catherine's enjoys views over the town to the surrounding Blue Mountains and farmlands.

St Catherine's was opened in October 1966 by the Sisters of Mercy as a 24 bed nursing home for retired sisters and increased its capacity to 30 beds. In 1999, a 24 bed hostel was opened, followed by a 15 bed Dementia unit in 2002 with provision for respite care.

St Catherine's, previously an aged care ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, Bathurst transferred to Catholic Healthcare on 30 June 2007.
