Major shopping centres and tourist attractions are located within a two kilometre radius. Strathaven is a home where residents are able to enjoy a caring and supportive environment that promotes respect and dignity for each individual.

The dementia specific area provides security and protection within a non-restrictive environment, allowing residents to access outdoor areas.

Residents, friends and family can sit and relax in the outdoor areas and enjoy the attractive surrounding gardens.

Residents are encouraged to make choices and decisions regarding their care and lifestyle. Families and friends of residents are encouraged to be involved in the overall care of residents through regular family case conferences and reviews facilitated by Strathaven's Care Coordinators.

Strathaven offers a combination of single rooms with ensuites and large built-in wardrobes, single rooms with shared facilities and a double room for a married couple.
