Retirees WA Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility was officially opened by the Minister for Health & Ageing Hon. Santo Santoro on 17th May, 2006.

The Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility located in Canning Vale is a fully accredited residential home for Western Australians owned and operated by Retirees WA (Inc).

Accommodation:

At the Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility we offer 62 single room with ensuite accommodation. Each room is supplied with a bed, a built in wardrobe, visitor's chair and a bedside cabinet. Rooms are located in groups of six, adjacent to four spacious living/dining areas.

The Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility is a two storey building. Most resident rooms have a private balcony or ground floor patio, some with extensive views to the surrounding hills.

Each resident is encouraged to furnish their room with some personal items such as a television (no bigger than 48cm), TV/video cabinet, armchair, radio and small fridge.
