A modern well appointed facility Richmond Lodge is fully accredited and offers two levels of care: a 12 bed dementia specific care unit and 18 low care hostel beds. Residents enjoy diverse activities with visits from the local community and regular outings and plenty of opportunities to take in the splendid gardens. The Hostel - comprises 18 comfortable rooms with ensuites spacious dining areas and relaxed living areas with a separate activities room for the many interesting recreational activities on offer. The competent and friendly staff ensure individual attention and care yet residents are able to retain their privacy and independence. Our Dementia Specific Care Unit - This fully secure purpose built dementia specific care unit is beautifully decorated ensuring an atmosphere of warmth and tranquillity. Our caring staff are full trained and offer the highest standard of care. Richmond Lodge Self Care Units - Located within the Richmond Lodge complex and only a short walk from the CBD parks and facilities the self care units offer an alternative to those retirees not quite ready for hostel care but who wish to remain independent but at the same time have access to assistance if required. Richmond Valley Veterans Home Care - Richmond Lodge provides services to local Veterans in their own homes through the Veterans Home Care Program. Qualified personal care assistants or housekeepers provide services such as respite domestic assistance and personal care. Veterans Home Care provides alternatives for Veterans who wish to remain in their own home for longer.
