Overview Somerton Residential Care Centre is located in the mostly residential seaside suburb of Somerton Park. Approx 12 kms south west of the city centre and a short drive away from the beach and nearby Marion Shopping Centre. Somerton is home to 74 residents who enjoy single and twin-share accommodation. Each bed has access to TV antenna sockets. Features of the centre The Residential Care Centre occupies one level of the multi-storey building at Somerton Park. ECH Therapy Services also operates on the ground floor within the building. Lifestyle program The lifestyle program offers a wide range of single and group activities and outings. The kiosk is a popular meeting place for a coffee and chat and is staffed by the very active committee of volunteers. A hairdresser attends several times a week and church services are conducted weekly. The site has access to a bus which gives residents access to local community facilities.
