Pronia Hostel (Ageing in Place) The facility cares for 40 residents in an attractive building at Clayton South located between Steyi and Galini Dementia. Accommodation – Each resident at Pronia has their own bedroom with access to a shared toilet and shower between two bedrooms. All bedrooms are heated and have an outlook to a garden Galini Memory Support Unit (Ageing in Place) Provides care to Greek elderly people who suffer from dementia. There is emphasis on structure and validation as well as on the Greek culture including food support language and activities. Galini has 33 permanent beds. Accommodation - Each resident at Galini has their own bedroom. Twenty-four of the thirty-two bedrooms have their own ensuites. The remaining eight bedrooms have access to a shared ensuites. All bedrooms are heated and have an outlook to the garden. From time to time it is necessary to relocate residents to other rooms as the needs of residents change. Such relocation is done after consultation with resident and families. Galini allows for Ageing in place. This means that the elderly person can remain in Galini as their needs change from low to high care category.
