The complex is situated in a beautiful garden setting in Orr Street just a few blocks from the town centre and the medical centre and has the added benefit of having 24 hour access to medical staff that is able to manage emergency situations. Woods Point is subject to the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency requirements and as such must comply with all Aged Care Standards including the provision of adequate and appropriately skilled staff to meet the needs of the Residents. Woods Point ensures there is an appropriate mix of Registered Nurses Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care staff. Woods Point provides allied health services including Podiatry Physiotherapy Dietetics Speech Pathology Massage therapy Diabetic Educator and Occupational Therapy.
