Each home is fully self-contained with lounge/dining room, one or two bedrooms/bathrooms, fully appointed kitchens and personal laundry facilities. All are bright and airy and have their own balcony or courtyard.

At Sunrise, care and support are never further than a push button away. Fully qualified carers are on site 24 hours a day.

For couples, Sunrise offers different levels of care from personal, domestic or nursing care so that couples can stay together without the anguish of separation – a benefit simply not offered in retirement villages. Naturally, they only pay for the services they use.

In the privacy of their own home, residents can receive 24 hour assistance with tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming; assistance at meal times; daily status checks; arranging medical appointments and 24 hour emergency response.

Sunrise's Registered Nurses can individually tailor plans including medication management; palliative in-home care; nutrition monitoring; illness prevention and wellness programmes as well as liaising with your various health professionals to improve overall health outcomes.

We realise that different people have different expectations, needs, wishes and capabilities to engage in activities. So the choice is entirely theirs. Residents can read in the library, watch movies in the leisure centre or join in the wide range of outings using our own private transport. Our carers are always on hand to help residents with daily activities; whatever level of assistance they require can be provided.

Coffs Harbour Village has several other shopping centres nearby which are accessible by the town bus system with a bus stop within 100 meters walking distance. A local cafe is a short walk from Sunrise, along with a greengrocer, dental clinic and pathology centre. There are also many churches.
