SummitCare Smithfield is a 90 bed fully accredited aged care centre located in a quiet suburban cul-de-sac.

All accommodation is on the ground floor allowing easy access to the centrally located courtyard.

The fully landscaped courtyard provides a secure haven for residents and their families. It incorporates casual sitting areas, walkways and a water feature including a fountain.

This is a modern fully air-conditioned centre with ensuite bathrooms. There are lounge areas scattered throughout the centre to allow residents and relatives to share time together undisturbed.

Experienced Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours per day to provide high level care and specialised nursing treatments.

Two full time Recreational Activities Officers provide a full and varied program of activities for our residents.

Every member of staff participates in ongoing education to ensure staff practices are up to date and are of the highest possible standard.

Residents have access to allied health professionals and staff are more than happy to arrange appointments on their behalf.

A hairdressing salon is located within the centre and a fully qualified hairdresser visits fortnightly offering all services including perms and colours.

SummitCare Smithfield is particularly proud of the food service that is overseen by a qualified Dietary Supervisor.

Tasty and nutritious meals are cooked on site and served either in the dining area or directly to the resident's room, depending on their preference.
