Anglican Care is an innovative and progressive provider of aged care services in the Hunter and Central Coast regions in NSW. The organisation offers a wide choice of care services options to meet individual needs, improve lifestyle, encourage independence, maintain socialisation within our community and assure peace of mind.

Anglican Care has been operating in excess of 50 years and is the aged care ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle. A not-for-profit organisation, any surplus funds are used to enhance the excellent care and quality lifestyle offered to our residents and clients.

Located adjacent to the beautiful Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Carey Bay Village consists of 31 low care (hostel), 62 high care (nursing home) places and 31 retirement living units. The nursing home includes a dementia specific unit, whilst the hostel includes suites for married couples. The Village is situated in a quiet bushland setting with beautiful, tranquil garden areas for residents and their families to enjoy. Additionally, there is a small local shopping centre located across the road for the convenience of residents, with the larger Toronto shopping centre just five minutes away.

The quality of care provided at Carey Bay Village is enhanced by the provision of a stimulating lifestyle and wellbeing program. Additionally, Anglican Care has an active community of volunteers, with many volunteers providing additional services and new friendships to the residents of Carey Bay Village. Retirement Living

Anglican Care's Carey Bay Retirement Living Village consists of 31 x two bedroom units, community room and carport area. A shopping bus is provided on a weekly basis and residents are able to organise their own activities such as luncheons, bus trips, cards, scrabble and many other social activities. Residents hold regular meetings to discuss relevant topics.

We have various options available to you that are designed to meet your needs. The contribution you pay will depend on what options you choose. A fortnightly maintenance fee applies.
