Lady of Grace Aged Care Facility is a 53 bed approved aged care provider accommodating residents requiring a high level of care. We also offer respite care and have 15 extra service rooms. Each room has views, air conditioning, TV connection, telephone connection and there is free WIFI available.

The Facility is set on 5 acres at Dural, with beautiful gardens, a spacious BBQ and picnic area for family gatherings, a partly sheltered courtyard so that residents can sit outdoors without being in direct sunlight, and plenty of wide open spaces with great views of bushland. This setting promotes a calm and peaceful environment for our residents and their families.

The Facility maintains a high stable staffing ratio, with a registered nurse on duty 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. With very low staff turnover, the residents are always attended to by familiar faces. All services provided focus on maintaining a quality of life and providing a high standard of individualised care. We strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for relaxation and interaction with other residents, as well as visiting family and friends. An individualised care plan is developed for each resident in consultation with doctors, registered nurses and a physiotherapist.

Our residents can choose and enjoy various daily activities organised by our Recreational Activities Officer, who is responsible for designing a Recreation and Leisure Program each month. Some of the activities available are art and craft, bingo, trivia, exercises, beauty care, board games, card games, cooking group and indoor bowls. We also have regular volunteers visiting from Redfield College and Red Cross who interact with the residents. There are also monthly bus outings, live entertainment and weekly movies. We have a library with over 200 books and a hairdresser visits once a month.

All meals are fully catered and are prepared on site daily by our qualified chef, using the freshest produce. Our chef prepares a well balanced, varied and nutritional menu, which is regularly reviewed. Resident's individual dietary requirements are also catered for.

Services offered are visiting medical practitioners, hairdressing, podiatry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and religious services from varied religious denominations. There is also a support group that meets once a month for family and carers. Our visiting hours are not set to specific times, so that family and friends can visit at a time that is convenient to them. There is ample parking on site.

We have been accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency and have been found compliant with all of the 44 expected outcomes set out in the Quality of Care Principles 1997. We have also recently received an “A-Rating” from the NSW Food Authority.
