The Home Nursing Group is a locally-owned and operated provider of home and community care services.

We currently serve more than 350 clients. Our 45 staff are all highly experienced, fully trained and receive on-going education to maintain their skills in areas such as first aid, CPR, infection control, medication management and other competencies relevant to the provision of excellent home care services. Our staff also have specialist training in dementia care, mental health & palliative care.

Our History:

The business was established in 1985 to assist the many families wished to care for their loved ones at home, as an alternative to traditional aged care choices, such as nursing homes The Home Nursing Group is owned by Gorm Kirsch, who has 22 years health care management experience. Since 2003, Gorm has been involved full-time in aged care.

Gorm and the entire team are passionate about helping people live safe, healthy and happy lives in their homes and believe that home care is a sustainable, affordable alternative to institutional care. For us, 'home really is where the heart belongs'.
