Anzac Lodge Nursing Home

Aged Care Find welcomes Anzac Lodge Nursing Home in Coburg North, VIC 3058 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

First established in 1997, Anzac Lodge offered 31 high care (nursing home) places. In 2005, 30 new low care rooms were added and the existing building renovated. Anzac Lodge is in a league of its own, rivaling many upmarket hotels in terms of finishings and class whilst retaining the feeling of home.

Anzac Lodge is operated by a team of professionals including a medical practitioner, all of whom have an active interest in the daily running of the facility. Anzac Lodge is proud to have attained full accreditation (perfect score) at each round since opening its doors.

The low care or hostel wing offers large spacious single rooms with adjoining ensuites. Whilst the high care or nursing home wing offers large twin share rooms. Many of the rooms look out onto our landscaped courtyards. There are also interconnecting rooms available for couples.

All rooms have the latest nursecall system, ample secure storage for personal belongings as well as the option of a private telephone. There are numerous lounges for dancing, carpet bowls, card games and exercise groups as well as a cinema room, chapel and library. Our courtyards are spacious and features fountains, fish ponds, barbecue facilities, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. Available in our facility is a variety of ethnic TV programs including RAI.

Delicious meals are freshly cooked on-site by our Chefs. The menu offers a full range of different cuisines and is created in consultation with our residents and Dietitian. We are able to cater for various needs including residents with diabetes or those who require vitamised meals.
